Help restore Richard Allen Coalition Inc in Georgetown, Delaware so it can be a cultural, civic, and education center once again. You may offer assistance with memorabilia, volunteering, funding, and so much more.
WE ARE MOVING FORWARD. With the grant funds we have received, we are in the process of removing the HVAC units from the roof and replacing them with ground units. We have also found the roof over the rear building needs replacement.
The late Terry Megee was instrumental in putting up our first basketball court and nets. Prior to his passing, we had discussed the expansion of the courts to accommodate the current use. We voted in Terry's honor, we would fulfill his vision. Therefore, as you pass the school, you will see the construction of the new courts. We are also in the process of getting new playground equipment as well.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
We have found our youth have no recreational facilities available to them during inclement weather. In addition, in hosting our classes we have found we don't have adequate space to house the need. Thus, we are starting a Capital Campaign to raise funding to build an adjacent building to house a recreational area, additional classroom space and other amenities to provide alternative avenues for our youth. Funds raised with this year's GALA will be the basis for this campaign. With additional grants and other funding, we hope to begin construction in the Spring of 2025.
